Webster Investment Advisors offers consulting services for all facets of professional money management, including comprehensive financial planning for families and individuals, and advisory services for specific issues including estate transfer and charitable strategies.
With all clients, ongoing services included are continuous professional management, quarterly account rebalancing (if desired), year-end tax summaries and quarterly comprehensive reviews and investment evaluations provided by Webster Investment Advisors.
Once your investment objectives have been determined, and after we have decided which one or more managers are best suited to your needs, your money is always invested directly with a custodian (usually Pershing, a subsidiary of the Bank of New York). If using individually managed accounts, the manager then allocates your money to different individual securities to be held at the custodian.
Rather than charging clients directly for our WIA consulting services, generally we share in a part of the money manager’s annual consulting fee (paid quarterly in advance) which ranges all-inclusively from .75% to 2.00%, depending on account size and manager. In certain cases accounts may have additional competitive operating expenses and/or a small custodial fee. The minimum investment for each different individually managed strategist is $50,000, but mutual funds may be invested in for less.
If using mutual funds, the client does not pay any management fees directly to Webster Investment Advisors, but rather selects share class options of A, B or C depending upon their preference of expense options.
